Step 1: Access the Dashboard

Log in to your TrueCold account at app.truecold.io. After signing in, you'll land on the Dashboard overview page. This is your central hub for monitoring live deliveries, shipments, handling units, and active alerts across your cold chain operations.

From the left sidebar, click Transit to navigate to the deliveries management page.

Step 2: Open the Transit Section

The Transit page displays all your deliveries in a sortable table, showing details like origin, destination, carrier, transport mode, and temperature range. Use the search bar to filter records or apply quick filters to narrow down the list.

To create a new transit record, click the + Create Delivery button located in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 3: Complete the Delivery Form

A Create new delivery dialog will open with the following fields to fill in:

• Code * — Enter a unique identifier for the delivery (e.g., DEL-2026-0100).
• Select origin * — Choose the site or warehouse where the delivery originates.
• Destination — Select the destination site or customer.
• Carrier — Assign the logistics provider responsible for transport.
• Route — Describe the planned route (e.g., "Madrid → Barcelona").
• Transport Mode — Specify the transport method (Road, Air, Sea, Rail).
• Started at — Set the departure date and time.
• Temperature Range — Define the required cold chain temperature range (e.g., 2°C – 8°C).
• Triggers — Configure alert triggers for conditions like temperature excursions or delays.
• Ended at — (Optional) Set the expected or actual arrival time.
• Assign to shipment — (Optional) Link this delivery to an existing shipment.

Step 4: Add Delivery Items and Create

In the Deliveries Items section, click + Add Item to include the products or materials being transported. For each item, specify the product name, quantity, and required temperature range. You can add multiple items and remove them individually if needed.

Once all required fields are completed and items are added, click the Create button to save the new delivery record. The delivery will appear in your Transit list, and temperature monitoring will begin automatically based on the assigned triggers and temperature range.
